RAD had the absolute HONOR of performing as the opening act for THE Sharon Cuneta and her daughter KC Concepcion at the Sharon Cuneta - Mega Thirty Tour at the Peppermill Resort and Casino in Reno, NV last weekend!

It was an absolutely FANTASTIC show and RAD is happy to report that we've had nothing but great reviews!

We would like to thank each and everyone who came out to Reno to show support, as well as those who's spirits were right there with us even though they couldn't be there in person.

We had the TIME OF OUR LIVES up there and we can only hope to have an experience like that in the future!

Today, I sat at my keyboard, playing a few random chords when I stumbled across a chord progression that sounded kind of familiar. After playing it a couple more times, I realized it was the progression to Desperado, by the Eagles. I started guessing the words and mumbling a few when I realized that I never really knew the lyrics! So I looked it up on YouTube and MAN, was I AMAZED. Not only did they create a masterpiece, musically, but they took the essence of their theme and matched it PERFECTLY with the music. I have to say, that in my opinion, Desperado is one of the most beautifully written songs of all time. I've been trying to get back to my roots musically and, based on today's findings, I can say that I'm definitely on the right track!

1. Each Easter season, Americans buy more than 700 million Marshmallow Peeps, shaped like chicks, as well as Marshmallow Bunnies and Marshmallow Eggs, making them the most popular non-chocolate Easter candy.

2. As many as 4.2 million Marshmallow Peeps, bunnies, and other shapes can be made each day.

3. Ham came to be the traditional favorite for Easter dinner because in pre-refrigeration days, hogs were slaughtered in the fall and cured for six to seven months. Just in time for Easter dinner...

4. In 1878 President Hayes and his wife Lucy officially opened the White House grounds to the children of the area for egg rolling on Easter Monday.

5. The most famous decorated Easter eggs were those made by the well-known goldsmith, Peter Carl Faberge. In 1883 the Russian Czar, Alexander, commissioned Faberge to make a special Easter gift for his wife, the Empress Marie.

6. The largest Easter egg ever made was constructed in Vegreville, AB. It weighed 5,000 pounds, and was 25.7 feet long

This weekend, Abdon and Dom chaperoned St. Augustine's 2009
2nd Year Confirmation Retreat in Occidental, CA. It was a weekend that
neither of them would soon forget. The theme for the retreat was
"Watch Me Rise."

Rad would like to congratulate the retreat directors, leaders, and
fellow chaperones for a job well done and of course, the wonderful
retreatants for reminding us that God's love shines through each and
everyone if us. We love you guys!!! Watch Us Rise!!

Our community has lost a great person, a friend, and a brother. He has left a lasting impact on everyone who has met him. We will not forget how his warm smile and bright personality brought the best out of the people who were blessed enough to witness it. I gotta admit, it does bring me down a bit, but she still deserves a STANDING OVATION for getting up there in the first place after everything that happened.

There were similar rumblings last month after the revelation that the classical quartet led by Yo-Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman played along to an earlier recording of the piece for President Obama's inauguration.

In a statement to The Associated Press, Perlman's rep defended the musicians' decision to rely on the recording.

"Mr. Perlman was deeply honored to be a part of the inauguration ceremony," his rep wrote. "The brutal cold created the distinct possibility of broken or out of tune instruments and, in order to avoid a weather-related issue detracting from the majesty of the day, a decision was reached to play along to the recording that the quartet had made earlier in the week."

There will be some who still believe live events such as the inauguration and the Super Bowl demand live performances. But as long as there is an increasing expectation for perfection, the prerecorded track and lip-syncing will live on.

It's ok Jennifer! You are not only one of our favorite artists, but one of our favorite people. We admire your courage and your strength. We can learn so much about strength from this girl.

THIS IS JUST A TEST TO SEE HOW IT LOOKS WITH STUFF ON THE PAGE!!!!

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

When life gives you oranges, make orange juice.

But what if you’re not exactly sure what you got?

What if you got some oranges, but then you got some lemons? Do you make orange juice or lemonade? Orange chicken or Lemon chicken? What do you do?

I know the originator of this saying probably meant that when life gives you a whole bunch of something sour, you gotta make the best of it. And that is very true. But I think that, although bracing for the sourness of tough times does prepare us for them, it can also make us forget that life is ALSO full of sweetness. Full of sweet, ripe oranges.

So when life's tough, fight through, and make the best of what ya got.
But when life's good, let it be good. Enjoy it!
